Help With Heating Bills
LIHEAP, the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program, provides cash grants to help families pay their heating bills. You might qualify for up to $1,000 in help. Note: The application deadline for cash grants is Friday, April 10.
Note: In addition to cash grants, LIHEAP provides crisis assistance for those experiencing a heating emergency.
How to apply
To apply:

Online, go to compass.dhs.pa.gov.

By mail, call 610-466-1042 to request an application.

In person, go to the Chester County Assistance Office at 100 James Buchanan Drive in Thorndale, business days between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
